Hi, I’m Pastor Ray Leggett
A missionary with a heart to serve and share Jesus Christ wherever He leads. Through Leggett Letters, I share updates from the mission field, stories of faith, and moments of ministry that remind us of God’s faithfulness. This online journal connects me with friends, church family, and supporters who want to walk alongside our ministry journey. Together, we can continue linking lives through the fellowship of Christ, one story, one prayer, and one mission at a time.
Leggett Letters began as a simple way to share God’s work beyond our church walls. What started as a few letters to friends and supporters has grown into an online ministry, connecting believers through stories of faith, prayer, and hope.
A missionary called to serve and share the Gospel wherever God leads. This blog is a personal way to stay in touch with my friends, church family, and supporters. I’ll share updates from the field, stories of faith, and opportunities to pray and partner with our mission.
Our heart and desire are to connect the transforming power of God as we link lives through the fellowship of Jesus Christ.
Cheri and I have been in ministry for over 23 years. I served as Associate Pastor in a church plant in Texas, then planted and built a church in Alaska where I served as a bi-vocational pastor for 15 years.
After retirement, some Village Missionary friends encouraged us to join Village Missions, knowing our heart for rural churches. Their words were a nudge from God, reigniting our passion to serve in rural America where many churches lack pastors to preach the Word and love the people.
After prayer and learning more about Village Missions, we felt led to partner with them.
Cheri and I have been married for over 29 years and raised four sons and one daughter. We’re now ready to help rural churches thrive.
