We have been spending a lot of time, sharing what God’s Word says about serving, and loving on our community! This is one example of how God blessed this church family as we pursued obedience to His calling!
This Veterans Day was special to us as a church. I was approached and asked if we would like to take the Veterans Day Celebration over. In the past they would have maybe seven to ten shows up. I said we would be proud to take it. I talked with our church, and it was enthusiastically received. We picked up some banners and unpacked the 4th of July decorations we had, and decorated the church and parking area, posted on social media and flyers around town.
We then made hamburgers and sides and of course, sweets! Some in the church made goodie bags and brought them. We had someone donate brand new cold weather gear we shared there, we had a wonderful time planning and preparing. And Praise God! We served over 50 people!
