This Story from the field, brings a smile to my heart. When I see the body of the church come together willingly and become the hands and feet of God, I praise God of the work He is doing in this little community. We have a mother who can barely get around using a walker suffering from severe hip and knee pain and is on the waiting list for surgery. And her daughter who suffers from an early on brain injury although she is reasonably functional. They live in a place that has a long driveway, which is not great during the winter. It has to be plowed. They drive a 2002 Dodge Neon. That vehicle is carried along by angels, that is the only explanation. Her vehicle died. A man from our church went to see if he could help, the fuel pump is bad. The only way to get to it is to drop the tank. That would have to happen in the snow. Another guy from the church is recovering from Liver surgery, he gets in his truck with a plow and plows their driveway. I contacted a mechanic, a wonderful Christian man and volunteered to fix the vehicle. And the board came together and we bought the part. And one of the most uplifting and awesome things out this, was I was having coffee with some old timers, and we were discussing our day, I told them I was traveling down to Omak to get parts, and I shared what we are doing. He sat there and reached into his wallet and handed me a $50 dollar bill. He told me he sees what we do over there at that church and wanted to help. Praise God!
