God is really moving in this community. I am seeing it in the wild ways! Earlier this month, I was contacted by an organization, out of the blue, they said we heard you could help us. The organization was called Team Okanogan Animal Rescue, an organization that helps folks that have pets but are struggling financially. They also provide free pet spade and neutering services as well. They had heard that we would be the ones to help coordinate something they wanted to do for Chesaw, if we were willing. We absolutely embraced the opportunity to be able to meet and minister to more of this community. We believe God was opening a door for us! We advertised for them and they arrived in a box truck full of dog and cat food and supplies. There were over 60 people from their count who came for that assistance. I was carrying food for the elderly as some of the bags were too big for them. We had a great time and began new friendships. I was able to help them create a location to where on a periodic basis there will be pet food dropped off for emergencies. I thank God for allowing us this opportunity.
